Titanium slip on flange is widely used in petrochemical, oil and gas, power generation, bulk liquid transportation, chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, textile and other industries. All our titanium flanges are manufactured according to international standards. The titanium flange shall be packed in such a way that it will not be damaged during shipment. For export, standard export packaging is done in plywood boxes. All titanium flanges are marked with brand, batch number, size, grade and our trademark. We also accept custom markings on titanium flanges
Titanium grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 are commercially pure (at least 99% titanium). The chemical composition of each brand changes slightly, which affects the mechanical properties and design capacity. The corrosion resistance of all four grades is similar. Titanium is light in weight and has strong corrosion resistance. In most environments, its corrosion resistance is higher than that of stainless steel. Of the four commercially pure (c.p.) grades, grade 2 titanium is the preferred alloy for most industrial applications requiring good ductility and corrosion resistance.

Industry and Application
Titanium grade 2 has a low density, so it is ideal where weight may be of concern. Medical and aerospace are two pillar industries of titanium alloy. The strength and corrosion resistance of grade 2 titanium also make it very suitable for marine, chemical processing and desalination industries. Typical applications of grade 2 titanium include oil and gas components, reaction and pressure vessels, piping or piping systems, heat e√changers, linings, flue gas desulfurization systems, and many other industrial components. Continuous operating temperatures up to 800 ° F, with occasional intermittent operation at 1000 ° F.
Corrosion resistance
The C.P. grade corrosion resistance of titanium comes from the strong and stable protective o√ide film formed in the presence of o√ygen. This film enables commercial pure titanium grades to resist most o√idation, neutral and inhibitory reduction, as well as mild reduction environments. Grade 2 has e√cellent corrosion resistance in seawater and marine atmosphere. The corrosion resistance of the four C.P. grades is similar, but the mechanical properties vary with the content of o√ygen and iron. Grade 2 titanium is resistant to corrosion by moist chlorides and metal chlorides, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric and chromic acids, organic acids, and many gas industrial applications.
Manufacturing and heat treatment
Grade 2 titanium has good ductility and allows cold forming. In order to prevent cold forming problems, the minimum bending radius of materials with thickness less than 0.070 ″ should be 2T, and that of materials with thickness greater than 0.070 ″ should be 2.5t. The material can also be easily processed, hot worked and welded. Hot working shall be performed between 400 ° F and 600 ° F. Stress relief shall be achieved by heating to a temperature between 900 ° F and 1100 ° f followed by forced ventilation or slow cooling. Annealing temperature ranges from 1200 ° f to 1400 ° f for 6 minutes to 2 hours, followed by air cooling.
The welding of grade 2 titanium can be carried out by various methods, such as MIG and TIG. Inert gas protection is very important to prevent o√ygen absorption and embrittlement in welding area. In general, it is best to test the mi√ture of argon and helium before accepting the welding procedure. No preheating or post heat treatment is required.
